Ukhuselo Training Academy
All Ukhuselo Training Academy courses are registered skills courses with PSIRA. Training takes place at our office in Cape Town, and we can assist with training requirements nationally through our accreditations. We work closely with our partners at PSIRA and SASSETA.
Courses
Our academy has six highly trained and qualified instructors who give individual attention to every student. We train the general public, with special assistance for people from disadvantaged households, and we help security company owners and large organisations qualify their staff.

For our officers and clients
Training starts at recruitment. Candidates are only appointed once they have completed induction, which runs over five to ten days and builds from the basics to the specialised skills each contract needs. Programmes are flexible and adapted to our clients.
Phase one · 5 days
Phase two · 3 days
Added when a contract requires it. Qualifications are accredited with SASSETA and certificates are issued.
Additional
Phase three · 2 to 5 days
Prepared for each new contract, or standardised for retail, corporate and residential estates. Candidates often attend site orientation and safety inductions on site.
